This is a fun and fascinating Picture/Information book that takes its reader from a gosling embryo, to pricking a hole for air, pipping, hatching, and finally joining its gaggle all within a day’s time.
The sidebars give excellent detail on the dramatic unfolding journey. The illustrations are big and bright. This would be a great read aloud to compliment a goose theme story time.
