This is the story of how Patricia Polacco became an artist and how “Miss Chew” the art teacher encouraged her. This is also one of those stories that make you realize that dreams do come true, even when other people don’t share your views. I highly recommend this book! It brought back my own childhood “musical dreams.” It struck a very familiar chord.
