Written and Illustrated by Peter McCarty

Chloe is the middle child in a family of rabbits: 10 older brothers and sisters and 10 younger brothers and sisters. (What do you expect, knowing they are rabbits!). They love life playing together, but especially family time after dinner each night. One night father brings home a TV and everything changes. Chloe is no longer in the middle, and not interested in television she and her baby sister find the box the television came in more entertaining, especially the bubble wrap. As the rest of the brothers and sisters join in, dad becomes impatient. I am disappointed when he sends them to bed, but I did enjoy the last page illustration. The sparse text and the pen, ink, and watercolor illustrations spread over the pages add to the joy of this book.
