I’m not sure what I expected but what I got was totally different in this book. With blood in the title I expected vampires or such. Instead, this book is about Nora, who has a brother that died, parents who are dysfunctional because of that deat,h and three friends who end up sharing an experience that goes beyond this time back to the 16th Century. A story of love, unstoppable passion for the truth and the unexpected awaits the reader of this tale.
Nora finds herself plummeted into a world of secret societies and two opposing groups that will stop at nothing to reveal the secrets Nora has uncovered while translating some ancient Latin letters. Her best friend, Chris’, murder sucks her into a mystery that could be deadly not only to her but to others she loves. I would recommend this book to High School students. This story line is a bit complex for younger readers and there is a romance intertwined.
