Written and Illustrated by K.G. Campbell
Lester’s cousin’s cottage is consumed by crocodiles so she comes to stay with Lester’s family. Cousin Clara is a curiously speedy knitter and poor Lester finds himself with dreadful sweater after dreadful sweater. Lester finds creative ways to “accidentally” destroy each sweater. In the end, Clara finds her place in the world and Lester understands that you never know what life will bring.
This book was full of subtle humor– I laughed out loud! I think this would be a fun read-aloud.
