Half a Chance

halfachanceWritten by Cynthia Lord

Moving often hasn’t been easy for Lucy. Her father is a famous photographer and Lucy would like to follow his example. Living in an old cottage on a lake in New Hampshire proves to have good and aspects to it also. There’s a new boy next door with a nice family. Unfortunately Lucy realizes that something is not quite right with the boy’s grandmother. Although the underlying subject of dementia could be depressing, this book handles it in a gentle manner. It’s a book well worth reading!
