Written by Stephen Wunderli, Illustrated by Tim Zeltner
A beautifully done book about a pumpkin seed that wishes to scare others, and about how he grows up to be a jack-o-lantern. It is a wonderful book to share about patience, becoming who you are, and just a nice Halloween story.
The illustrations are deeply rich and colorful. The illustrator varied the size of the pictures from one picture for both open pages to a variety of smaller illustrations between the words. The effect is very visually interesting. The wind in the story is a character that helps Little Boo, and is beautifully illustrated.
Little Boo is a sweet story about fulfilling a destiny, and a Halloween story that isn’t focused on costumes or candy. Fun to read. Enjoy.
