This was a great book! I loved it from the first sentence to the last! Gin Phillips has a gift for writing that keeps you so involved with the main character, Olivia. You can relate to her worries about her Mom’s illness and wanting to help, her hopes that her life can go back to normal, her loneliness at a new school and not fitting in, and her wish for something amazing to happen in her that would make everything right again. I love how life really is about seeing and enjoying the little things rather than waiting until something big happens in your life. The title so aptly describes it: there is a little bit of spectacular in all we do and experience!
