Last of the Sandwalkers

Last of the SandwalkersBy Jay Hosler

This is a long graphic novel with a lot of text. I was excited about that because it will give some of the advanced readers a more challenging graphic novel to read. This is a story full of scientific information, mostly about insects. I found that sometimes the science content was too much for me, making it hard to get into and in parts an information overload. There is a good storyline though of a group of beetles on an adventure to see if there is more to their world. I did like that the format made it an enjoyable way to learn more about various insects. I know there will be several students who will enjoy this book, especially insect lovers.
