Nuts to You is such a fun story. I was completely enchanted by all the squirrels, each with their own personalities and idiosyncrasies. I am not a lover of animal stories, but it only took me a bit to really be charmed by Jed, TsTs, and Chai and their story of friendship, adventure, and community. Plus, when a book can make you laugh out loud more than once – it’s a keeper! This would be a fun read a-loud for 1st to 3rd graders (maybe even older).
