By Molly Bang
This book is about a little girl who expresses her feeling about a tree through a painting done at school. One of the other children makes fun of her picture because she didn’t use traditional colors to paint the picture. When the teacher asks Sophie about her painting, Sophie tells the class that she was trying to show how the tree makes her feel. Cute book about learning to share your feelings and finding positive things in everyone’s pictures.

Thanks for the review Maria. This sounds like a book that would have a place in any library or home. I really like Molly Bang’s other Sophie book so this will be a good companion, I’m adding it to my to-buy list.
Like Christine, thank you Maria for this review. I have seen this book, but did not know what it was about. This will be on my list to buy for next year too.
