Winnie wants a pet monster! Why not? All of her friends have pet monsters. Some monsters love to dance and scream, some are tiny but very messy, some are cute but incredibly smelly, and some smell like pirate feet, but they are so darn cute. Winnie pleads with papa to please get her one. She promises to walk it, feed it, and pick up its “monster poo.” Soon her papa gives in and off they go to the Monsterium to adopt a monster. Winnie soon learns that a monster pet is a lot of work. What did she get herself into? Children will love this book. It is fun-spirited and will be a hit in your library.
