When I Grow Up: Sonia Sotomayor

This book is an excellent beginning biography of Sonia Sotomayor. It introduces it’s readers to the third woman appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court and the first Latin American to serve. She has a great background and her experiences will be inspiring to it’s young readers. Her last quote in this book reads, “I am an ordinary person who has been blessed with extraordinary opportunities and experiences.” This book will interest and educate readers beyond it’s target audience.
