Secret Agent Man Goes Shopping for Shoes

Secret Agent Man Goes Shopping for ShoesWritten by Tim Wynne-Jones, Illustrated by Brian Won

I loved this book. It has mystery, adventure, mommy and me bonding time, and of course shoe shopping. The illustrations are great at conveying both “reality” and “how S.A.M. sees it”. They go between a retro spy style (black, white, and blue “pop art”) and a typical cartoon style. I loved how well they went with the voice of the text. It is so very entertaining from kindergarten to adult level. I hope there will be more in this series!
