Written by Robie H. Harris, Illustrated by Alice Feagan
Wonderful nonfiction picture book geared towards K-2 graders. You will get to learn about a school day in the life of fourteen individual students from around the world. Visit the Cook Islands, Singapore, China, Kazakhstan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Turkey, Germany, Denmark, Venezuela, Honduras, homeschoolers in the U.S.A., and Canada. I love the illustrations and the world map at the beginning showing where each of the children are from. Learn about how the students get to school, what types of activities they do, sports they play, see the clothes they wear, etc.

Sounds great for students to read, but it is also one that I would love to take a look at.
