This was a great book. It told the little-known story of the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff during World War II, but did it by telling a great story and incorporating some great characters. I really enjoyed reading it, but felt like the emotional impact wasn’t as great as it could have been, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars.
