The Monster Next Door is a delightful book. The illustrations are colorful and engaging. It is the story of a monster and a boy that are next door neighbors. They discover each other one day and become instant friends. Then one day they have a disagreement that ends in a fight. This book perfectly captures how close friends, especially children, can easily get into a spat, but once you go home and calm down and quietly reflect, you’ll see things are better with your friend than without and you can go make up. Good lesson for children at this age to learn.
