Written by Linda Bailey, Illustrated by Victoria Jamieson
This is a delightful story about a family of bugs that live in a fourth-grade classroom in a school. Their favorite aunt that taught some of them how to read has gone missing in the school library! Eddie, her oldest nephew, is a shiny green bug and the hero of this story. He is tiny and amazingly brave! This is a real page-turner. I did not want to stop reading. There is adventure, suspense, and humor throughout the story. I think this would be a good read-aloud for grades 2-5. The author did an excellent job with character development. There are a few cute black and white illustrations throughout the book.
