This book is designed for the newly independent reader and is divided into short informative chapters. The layout pops with colorful photographs and captions that provide additional information. For example, one photograph shows several imps in the den with their mother and teaches, “large birds might try to eat young imps.” In the back of the book is a “Tasmanian Devil Life Cycle”, an index, a glossary, a section about the “Habitat in Focus,” some “Fun Facts,” and additional book and website resources to explore.
