This book is great for those who want to spice up their lunches and make eating more fun for youngsters. It would also be a good resource for a Halloween party or spooky get together. Most ideas are simple and children can do with little supervision, but a couple require blending and cutting so an adult may be needed for the younger cooks. The “Maggot and Bug Salad” is a little disappointing grossness-wise, but “Dog Pile on Rice” is definitely horrifying. I don’t know if I could stomach it because of how awful it looks. Sure to be a hit with young chefs.
