Genius, #2
Written by Leopoldo Gout
I must first preface that this is book two of a series, and I did not read book one. There are some things that were confusing or vague because of my failure to read book one, but it did stand well on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed The Con.
The story is about three teens on the run from US federal and international authorities and trying to get to Africa to save a village from a warlord general. The three each have a remarkable skill set. Tunde, from Africa, can engineer most anything and they start the journey with a powerful jammer that he built. Rex, a Hispanic from New York, is an amazing programmer and hacker. Painted Wolf, from China, can read situations and people and plan missions that are successful. Once they arrive in Africa, the three must con the warlord and save the day. There is action, with lots of twists and turns and obstacles to overcome.
Do yourself a favor and read Genius: The Con.
