Li is the last human on earth. Her true identity is a secret known only to her family. Sixteen years ago, the Abdoloreans took over earth and eliminated the humans. Their claim is that the humans didn’t take care of the earth. Abdoloreans are superior to humans in intelligence, strength, and health. In order to keep up with her classes and not get caught, Li must train non-stop. And, in order to stay safe, she must place top in her assessments, to become an officer. Li also knows that she must keep her secret or else she and her family will be killed. Will the desire to fall in love or to be honest with others put their lives in peril? Can she rank top in her class?

This is a fun, short read that will appeal to those who like books like Ender’s Game, The 5th Wave, or Cinder. The genre mix will be sure to keep readers engaged.
