This ninja book is not like others I’ve read. Yes, it tells what a ninja is supposed to do: be quiet, patient, and invisible, but it also shows that sometimes ninjas struggle. I loved the idea that everyone has some special skill, and sometimes it takes a little longer to find what it is. Ruby is a lot like most kids so I think kids will identify with her. Parents and teachers will love the lessons this book teaches.
