This is the final book in the “Shapes Trilogy” by author Mac Barnett and illustrator Jon Klassen, one of my favorite duos. In Circle, all three friends, Triangle (a trickster), Square (a worrier), and Circle (a rule follower) are together for a game of hide-and-seek. After Circle warns her friends not to go into the cave behind the waterfall she closes her eyes and counts. Now, where do you suppose the friends hide? The story is silly and the ending will have you closing your eyes and using your imagination.
