Orange for the Sunsets

Written by Tina Athaide

Asha and Yesofu are best friends living in Uganda. There’s just one problem: Uganda’s new president has decided to expel all Indians from his country and Asha and her family are Indian. Native Ugandans want their country back. As a native Ugandan, Yesofu is confused about how he should feel. He has a friend that has to leave the country, but without Indians in Uganda, maybe he will have a better future. This historical fiction book is well written and you will enjoy getting to know these characters and learning of the struggles they overcome.
