I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which is full of adventure and friendship, not to mention jellybeans and fudge-covered marshmallows! Jake McQuade takes on Zane Zinkle as the smartest kid in the universe. With the help from other genius friends that are sent off to genius camp, Jake tries to help save his home town from the evil Zinkle zphones! I loved all the brainteasers throughout the brain camp that really get you interested in solving the problems yourself. I even found myself looking up the author’s website to see if I got the answer right on the last puzzle in the book. An entertaining read for kids 8 and up. I will highly recommend this book to the students in our library! Gets your brain working without even realizing it. A fun read.
