Written by Meg Rosoff, Illustrated by Grace Easton
This is a cute easy chapter book about a family that is moving. The youngest family member Betty is anxious about the move to a new house and school, but she has her dog McTavish to help her navigate the ins and outs of the experience. This book is a simple read, although it did take a bit to get going. It does a good job of showing the anxiety a child would feel about moving to a new situation. This is a good choice for kids that are mastering independent reading but still need short simple stories.
