The Glow Show is a story about a squid who loves to twirl and dance, and also a sweet story of friendship. Glow does not want to share the spotlight with his friends, who he ignores, and moves to different waters to gain more fame. I really enjoyed the bright and cheerful illustrations. The text shows how overconfidence can get you into murky waters, and that life is better with friends to help you through. I loved the vibrant colors and the cute style of this book which is ideal for children. It’s a great way to explore the difference of fans and friends. Having true friends is more important than having fans and followers.
