Written and Illustrated by Emma Carlisle
This book is full of beautiful thoughts about the many benefits of trees in our world. The author asks lots of questions to help us think about trees. The art is soft and inviting. This is a great discussion book about living things. I would suggest it to teachers who are teaching about living and nonliving things as well as those needing a good writing prompt to share with their students. It will also be a good read aloud in the library. I can imagine the kids thinking as I read this to them and coming up with really great responses to the questions inside.
