I have reviewed similar books in the past that I found interesting but a little tough to get through. With those, unless you were looking for something specific, it was like reading a textbook–so not too fun. This one, however, has bright pictures, pithy (one-page) stories, and easy to understand language. I was very pleasantly surprised! I also loved that there was a mix of recognizable individuals who have made a difference and some who are not as widely known. From Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to Bhagat Singh Thind, this book shared some amazing and inspiring stories.
