Two young sisters are enjoying the last days of summer, but also anticipating the first day of school. I liked the anticipation of the girls and the way they were transitioning from summer activities to school. Transitions are sometimes hard for children and I think this book addressed those issues well. I really enjoyed the mixed media illustrations and thought they made the page come alive.
