Okay, this book was the coolest!!! I had no idea about the origins of using rock-salt for ice cream to help it freeze faster. Also, hearing how Augustus Jackson, a man who was raised with very little, was able to follow his dreams and change an entire franchise to this day–so cool!! I thought to myself “wow!” on multiple occasions while reading. The pictures really give this book life as well, so it feels like a regular picture book (but, SURPRISE, it is nonfiction!) Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this book!
