Paz is back. All the nuts on Winklefuss Island have disappeared, and Paz is called to the case. Looking into it they find a map from the old Gnawface the Meanie pirate. Legend has it that her loot is somewhere on the island, and that any treasure seeker will be marked with a golden smudge, then ghost-napped.
Not believing in legends, the greedy islanders go after the treasure and one by one start to dissaper. Paz , being the only resident who doesn’t care about treasure, is the only one left to solve the case. Can she solve it before she too becomes ghost-napped?

This book kind of has Dog Man/Bad Guys vibes and is a cute graphic novel. I even loved how some of Paz’s flies add to the conversation. I also love the creative way she gets around. This is the second book in the series, and now I will definitely have to buy the first.
