This is a mystery for young readers by Fleur Bradley and is sure to spark readers’ imaginations and keep them turning the pages to see how everything turns out. The book, Midnight at the Barclay Hotel, is full of twist and turns, and all the threads are tied up at the end in a satisfying and entertaining way. Super-fun and just the right amount of spooky. What reader wouldn’t enjoy a book filled with engaging characters and secrets galore that takes place in a haunted house? The kids are fun and have realistic characteristics of any kid in the 11-12 age group. They learn to work together as a team to solve the murder mystery. The hotel is supposed to be haunted and even though there is a murder mystery to be solved, there is nothing inappropriate for young readers. Highly recommend!
