Cantora is a well written biography of famous Latin-American activist Mercedes Sosa, who seeks justice for the labor and farmer workers and the freedom of the people of Argentina. Mercedes grew up in a small town in San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina. Regardless of the humble family situation, Mercedes had a great voice. As she grew older, after participating in a radio contest, she started to grow her love for singing and her people. Through her singing she brought messages of peace and fairness. Although her voice caused some great movements, it also caused some challenges.
