Stacey Abrams and the Fight to Vote

Written by Traci N. Todd, Illustrated by Laura Freeman

This book is amazing. It shows the fight for voting rights from the past to the present day. Many great women like Sojourner Truth, Ida B. Wells, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Septima Clark are in an imagined conversation looking down on Stacey Abrams as she goes through her life determined to make voting easier and help more people to actually be able to vote. It is well written and enjoyable to read.
