Ahoy!

Borrow and read this book in Granite’s Sora!

Written and Illustrated by Sophie Blackall

Aaaah, so cute! Undoubtedly, just about every child who has ever lived has had their imaginative play interrupted by a parent who needs to do housework. But rare is it that the parent chooses to put off that task and join the child in play. That is exactly what happens in this beautifully illustrated picture book. All hands on deck as child and parent set sail on the living room rug.
Ahoy! is a visual feast and read-aloud delight. It is like watching a Bluey episode with all the imaginative play between a child and parent. I love the way they get carried away with their “play.” Do not miss the glossary of mariner words as the book begins and put on your best seafaring voice for a rip roaring read aloud.
