What a great book! What You Need to be Warm is a beautiful book illustrated in grayscale and bright orange. Neil Gaiman collected memories about being warm from thousands of people. He wove the memories into a poem for refugees who have to leave theirs homes and winter is coming. It is a book to draw attention to them and to help raise money to keep them warm. It explores the idea of coldness and warmth. Of being outside and inside. Of being welcomed in with safety and warmth like a cup of hot cocoa by the crackling fire.
