I felt that the book started out slow, but I think that it was because it is book 2 in its series and they were trying to cover enough of the first book so that you wouldn’t miss anything if you hadn’t read the first one, like me. But once the storyline was established it became an exciting book.
We follow Gina and her friends Elena, Edgar, and Kevin, also known as “G.E.E.K.”, on a quest to prove that they are not frauds. In the first book they discovered a hidden treasure but someone is spreading rumors that it was all a set up. So they are set a test to see if they really are able to follow the clues and find the hidden object. But with many obstacles in their way, will they be able to finish before the deadline?
