Easier said than done, but she is determined!! Her friends think she has been replaced by an alien because her room is clean, her hair is combed and she is nice to everyone. Amid the teasing from friends and her little brother Stink, Judy finger knits to keep her on her goal. As the knitting chain gets longer and longer, Judy must find yarn anywhere she can (taking sweater apart, odd pieces from the attic, etc.) Find out what she does when the chain gets too long and she takes it to school. Will she be able to stay in a good mood for the entire week? Will her friends ever believe she is really her and not a Martian? This is a funny school story that readers will love. Those who are fans of Judy Moody and those who might just pick up one of her stories for the first time will be entertained from first page to last. Accented with Peter H. Reynolds humorous black and white illustrations, Megan McDonald has written a real winner.
