Wendy always had an eye for rare finds. While on a field trip at the age of twelve years old, she found a fossilized piece of coral and this sparked a lifelong interest in fossil finding. She later attended college and became a paleontology technician. Over the years she has found over three thousand fossils, including the Wendiceratops which was named after her.
I loved this book, its illustrations, and think it would be a great read aloud!
