This story is about Garlic, a garlic that a witch brings to life. Garlic doesn’t know if she wants to become like a human, but she does want to help the witch. The witch needs some bloodroot for the Count and Garlic volunteers to go. She is very brave even when she is scared. I also like that this book is about kindness and helping each other. I prefer to read normal chapter books rather than graphic novels, but it was still a good story.
