Jayylen is so excited for Christmas this year because he is his brother–Manuel’s–Secret Santa! Manuel is in the army but should be home for Christmas. But when Manuel is asked to stay on base for Christmas, the family is very upset. However, Jayylen decides to work hard and try to still make this the best holiday season for everyone–including Manuel!
I have to laugh. In every story I have read from Jayylen, his sister Hazel has been extremely sassy! Thankfully she turns it around in this story. Very cute Little Golden Book.
