supertruckBy Stephen Savage

This is really well-written children’s picture book about a truck. I empathized with and felt sorry for one of the trucks. That’s not easy to do in just a little over 100 words.

Some other trucks are introduced at the beginning and the reader learns what those trucks are able to do. Then, the poor trash truck is introduced in a way that made him seem like he didn’t have an important job. Then the beautiful city gets in trouble with a terrible blizzard. The rest of the story is about how a SUPERTRUCK comes to help.

Great graphics go with this animated story. Very anthropomorphic trucks. This is sure to be a favorite of many young children.
