Annabel Craven has moved to a small town when her mother inherited a house from a great-uncle. She has never really been popular and is hoping to make some friends. She finds a cell phone walking through the cemetery near home, thinking that the phone dead until she starts receiving texts. Not knowing anyone in town she gets scared when they know her but never tell who they are. She goes through a series of adventures until she finds that she can see and text dead people.
