Secret Coders, Book #2
By Gene Luen Yang and Mike Holmes
As our three friends continue on their adventure discovering that their school holds a secret, they begin to run into a few problems. In order to cover their tracks they are lying to their parents and other teachers. In addition, the rugby team and the principal seem extra interested in what they are doing.
Secret Coders Book 2 is a good continuation of the first book, but probably is not one to stand on its own. You would need to read the first book before you read this one, or you may get lost. For me, at times, it got difficult to follow along. I am not computer savvy and had to look back to see if I missed something. I really enjoyed the first book, but found that I did not like the route that this one was taking.

Thank you for this informative review. I too, liked the first book a lot, but haven’t read this one yet. I have noticed that the kids who read the first book, try the second, but haven’t liked it as well either. Hopefully the third and fourth books, when they are published will have a better storyline to interest the readers.
