Miguel’s younger brother’s hamster has been missing, more like hamster-napped, by the mysterious Game Master. Two months later, Miguel’s pet snake Nacho also goes missing. A note from the Game Master was left in Nacho’s terrarium with a clue to where the two pets could be found. When the first clue leads Miguel and his friends to the run-down abandoned house in the neighborhood that no one wants to go near, they are not so sure they can do this.
Desperate to get his pets back, Miguel and his friends split up to face their worst fears. Clues lead to more clues, finally leading them to the missing pets. It’s only when they’ve beat the Game Master and returned home that Matt realizes something special of his is missing.
