The Magic Tree House chapter book series easily converts to the graphic novel format. This title is particularly enjoyable, as the illustrators bring the Amazon to life in vivid color. Plenty of facts are included, even though this book isn’t as text heavy as the original. Readers will love seeing the illustrations of the adorable critters. Along with all the adventure they experience, Jack and Annie share a message about appreciating animals’ inherent behaviors and caring for the rain forest.
