Mini Mighty Sweeps

Written by Lori Alexander, Illustrated by Jeff Harter

There are a lot of likable elements to this picture book. It’s got your firetrucks, garbage trucks, semis, and backhoes. It’s got days of the week. It’s got witty dialogue. And it ends at bedtime. It’s about Sweeps, a mini sweeping machine who feels pretty little because she never gets to help with the big jobs. She isn’t sure there’s a place for her. So, it’s a sometimes the small things do important things type of book. The illustrations were great! I think it would appeal to preschoolers to second grade.
