Tomorrow’s Lily

Written and Illustrated by Chris Raschka

Lilies bloom quickly and then are gone. This book is a story of a lily plant that blooms one blossom every day for a different reason. The watercolor art is very inviting and I think young children will really engage with the pictures and looking for the details that make this book so beautiful. The message is one of how we all bloom for each other and we come and go in each other’s lives, but the memories we make together will stay with us forever, just like the beauty of the lilies the bloom and go so quickly.
